Your Bartok Six have just reached me: the most all-embracing and satisfying performances in the fifty years since I first encountered them. Greatly looking forward to the Barbican next month.

Wonderful wonderful performance tonight at the Ateneneul Roman. The Britten and the Beethoven were mesmerising - don't know how I am to sleep now! If you are ever in Edinburgh and are looking for a place to stay ... we may be able to put you from April next year. Are you in town for long?
